Our mission is to investigate progressive new strategies for preventing and treating diabetes.

Our team focuses on the mechanisms underlying the clinical heterogeneity in people with diabetes and their response to immunotherapy. Our ultimate goal is to convert laboratory discoveries into biomarkers of disease that will lead to effective prevention measures for those who are at risk for developing diabetes, as well as more personalized therapies for people who are living with the disease.
